Don Erler, as a full time real estate and auction professional, is an active licensed auctioneer
and real estate broker in Kentucky and Indiana. Now in his eighteenth year of creative real
estate brokerage, Don's client list includes many financial institutions, state and federal courts, legal counselors, corporations, municipalities, school boards, consultants and individuals, all
of whose projects have spanned Kentucky, Indiana and several other states.

Don is past secretary/treasurer and director of the Kentucky Auctioneers Association, past president of the Kentucky Real Estate Exchangers, governor of the Auction Marketing
Institute, and past member of the legislative committee of the National Auction Association. He has won numerous advertising and bid calling awards from the Kentucky and Indiana
Auctioneer Associations. Don holds the Certified Auctioneers Institute designations
(CAI, AARE) and is active in many continuing education programs. As a member of RE/MAX Commercial Brokers in Louisville, Kentucky from 1992 to 2004, Don was the Top Commercial Agent for RE/MAX Kentucky/Tennessee for 1994 and 200, a member of the RE/MAX 100%
Club for the past ten years, Platinum Club for two years, and awarded the prestigious
RE/MAX Hall of Fame designation in 2000. Don joined Sperry Van Ness as an auctioneer
and senior advisor on March 1, 2004.

Don's education and professional experience bring substantial value to his clients and customers. He has degrees in economics, law, real estate and auctioneer, with 37 years of hands-on experience in public, private and governmental accounting, corporate law practice, national sales, and real estate and personal property brokerage.

In addition, Don takes great pride in his numerous charitable fundraising activities for the Louisville Zoo, Jaycees, Red Cross, Cedar Lake Lodge, March of Dimes, Executive Women International and other organizations.
